X-Men

Series Information

X-Men was the first animated series based on Marvel Comics' best selling comic.  A previous series known as Pryde of the X-Men was in development in the late 1980's but only one episode was produced.  The series premiered in the fall of 1992 and lasted for five seasons; the last episode premiered in the fall of 1997.  The last six episodes have different animation from the rest because they were produced directly at Saban Entertainment.  Marvel's production company had gone bankrupt and could not produce them.  Nevertheless, the final episode, Graduation Day, ties the series together and gives it a true ending.
