Website Vision

The ultimate goal of Blast from the Past is to completely piece together everything pertaining to kid's shows from the decade of the 90s.  Being able to completely restore the past includes: having information relating to every kid's show that aired during the 1990s, offering a download section of show openings, closings, promos and commercials, and network commercials that is as comprehensive as possible, and finally, finishing a schedule archive of every show that has aired on each network.  The information will be presented in any form of media, such as the aforementioned videos, as well as through text, pictures, and interviews of those involved with different aspects of shows.

As one can imagine, this goal seems like an almost impossible feat.  In many respects, this goal might not ever be accomplished; however, I am going to try my best for Blast from the Past to be as close as possible to making this dream become reality.  I know that everything that I am searching for is out there in some form and is just waiting to be uncovered with the help of this website.

I like to compare my website to a one-million piece puzzle.  The goal is to finish the puzzle by putting in that last piece.  However, there is a problem.  After I get home from buying the puzzle at the store, I open up the box and realize that there are roughly hundreds of thousands of pieces missing to this puzzle.  Consequently, I only have about roughly half of the pieces needed to reach the ultimate goal.  The other half are scattered throughout the world and are in the hands of others.  Each of these people possess what might seem like only a miniscule puzzle piece.  However, if each were to donate their piece, the final picture would become clearer and clearer.

It is my utmost belief that if those who can help in any way possible do come forward, then Blast from the Past would become even more complete.  No form of help is small in any way; each and every person who helps out, no matter how big or how small, will ultimately lead to the completion of the master plan.  Therefore, I urge all visitors to check their own collections for any missing puzzle pieces lying around.  With everyone's help, Blast from the Past will become the definitive resource for the history of kid's TV during the 90s.
